Two years after conducting online recognition ceremonies, the UST Alumni Association, Inc. (USTAAI) and the Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) celebrated onsite The Distinguished Thomasian Alumni Night (TDTAN) last November 26, 2022 at the UST Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. Grand Ballroom.

The annual celebration was called by the UST AAI President Dr. Evelyn Songco a statement to the world that UST has produced unlimited men and women of distinction whose works and actions resonate in their professional field and the community.

"The USTAAI dreams that a time will come that we can bring together more distinguished Thomasian alumni who shall be branded as [an] elite community of practice," said Dr. Songco. "For us, elite is a brand that stands for Excellence, Love, Illuminate, Timeless, and Empowering," she added.

There are no strict qualifications to be included in the roster of distinguished alumni. The alumni associations, chapters, and groups may nominate honorees whom they see fit. However, nominees must be presented to USTAAI where they will be assessed if they have an excellent track record that proves they are a cut above the rest. For this year, 103 alumni made it to the list. Honorees were presented at the ceremony according to the alumni association who nominated them.
