In an event of grace, gathering and exemplary charity, the Drs. Jose and Stella Evangelista Lounge and Lobby were unveiled and christened last January 12.

The batch 1968 of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery were the witnesses of the christening of the newest addition in the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes O.P. building.

The program was started with welcoming remarks from the director of the Office for Alumni Relations, Ms. Cherry G. Tanodra, RN, MAN, who expressed her gratitude to all the guests who were present and thanked everyone who made the event possible.

The benediction which was lead by the university?s beloved Rev. Fr. Rector Herminio Dagohoy O.P.  soon followed.

The lobby and the lounge, which is going to be used as a place of rest, function and the new home of all alumni is a product of the generosity of all the alumni who tirelessly gave their support for the betterment of our university.

The newest resting place for all alumni was named after Drs. Jose and Stella Evangelista whose ?munificence and exemplary generosity has greatly benefitted the alumni association many-a-times,? according to Dir. Tanodra.
