The UST Faculty of Medicine Grand Alumni Homecoming: The "Welcome Home" Walk

The UST Medical Alumni Association (USTMAA) started their grand alumni homecoming the same way our newest Thomasians do-walking their way home.

Last January 11, years after finishing their medicine degree, the USTMAA jubilarians had their very own welcome walk.

The batches 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988 and 1993 of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery began their 4-day celebration by entering the arch of the centuries.




The Thomasian welcome walk usually means the beginning of the journey of new Thomasians, however, this time, the walk symbolizes the alumni coming home to their beloved university.

"It was fabulous, memorable. (It) brings back old memories of our student days." Dr. Stella, one of batch 1968?s alumni said as the event came to a close.

The boisterous and energetic event was just the start of the adventure- and fun-filled homecoming celebration of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery jubilarian alumni.
