The Thomasian alumni community gave its full support to the recently concluded PBA on Tour hosted by the University of Santo Tomas on July 5, 2023 at the Quadricentennial Pavilion.
Around 300,000 pesos were collected from Thomasian sponsors for the fundraising event that will be donated to the program of the Institute of Physical Education and Athletics (IPEA) to its student-athletes. Monetary sponsors included Wilcon Depot, Hilmarc's Construction Corporation, and Archipelago Builders.
In-Kind sponsors who were also the concessionaires in the event included Manila Cafe, Tinapayan Cafe, and Sweetums Tasty Delight.
The first game was Northport Batang Pier versus NLEX Road Warriors with the latter collecting the win of the day with a score of 95-87. It was then followed by the match of Meralco Bolts against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel where the beermen met an upset with a score of 106-93.
This year, IPEA aims to hold more fundraising events in collaboration with PBA for the benefit of its student-athletes.
