Last March 14, the UST Miguel de Benavides Library recently welcomed the addition of "6th Dimension: Culture-Driven Nation" by Elba Siscar Cruz to its archives.
This comprehensive work explores culture as a vital "sixth pillar" of national security, underscoring its transformative role in defining the Filipino spirit and the nation's destiny. Central to the publication is the inclusion of numerous Thomasian alumni artists, whose diverse works are showcased as integral contributions to the country's cultural landscape. Cruz's book serves as a permanent record of the profound impact Thomasians continue to have on Philippine art.
The turnover ceremony was hosted by OAR and the UST Atelier Alumni Association, Inc. More copies of the book were also distributed to University offices and alumni associations.
