UST OAR launches virtual event series to stream alumni affairs

The UST Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) launched "Online TALK - Thomasian Alumni Libangan at Kwentuhan" last September 2020. The initiative is a series of online homecomings and general assemblies offered to the Thomasian alumni community who weren't able to celebrate their jubilarian anniversaries, reunions, or ceremonies due to the health crisis brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alumni Relations Director Asst. Prof. Fredeswindo R. Medina, in his speech during the first installment of the virtual series, said that OAR is glad to be of service to its stakeholders. He hopes to further enhance the university's connections and create more opportunities for future collaborations with its alumni.

In its first two months, the Online TALK has been able to host and air three batch reunions for the UST Tourism & Hospitality Management Alumni Association, Inc., and an anniversary celebration with an induction ceremony of officers for the UST Alumni Association in Brunei Darussalam.

The said online gathering program is being held on Zoom and streamed via Facebook Live. Any alumni associations, chapters, and groups may avail of the service subject to approval by the office. For more information, interested groups may leave them a message at alumnirelations@ust.edu.ph.
