Tomasinong Bikolano inducts new officers

Tomasinong Bikolano, the regional chapter alumni association of Thomasians in Bicol, inducted new officers in a ceremony on April 23, 2023 at the La Piazza Hotel and Convention Center, Legazpi City.

Present in the event was the Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) headed by Director Asst. Prof. Fredeswindo R. Medina, MACHs who was also the inducting officer. 

Officers were led by Tomasinong Bikolano Regional Chair Dr. Rollo Millante. Here are the officers inducted.

Asst. Prof. Medina congratulated the group for another successful term and thanked their warm welcome. He then offered OAR's service to Tomasinong Bikolano should they need any assistance when they visit UST Espaņa campus.

Also present in the event was the UST Alumni Association, Inc. (USTAAI) President Atty. Dwight Ramos and Thomasian Alumni Community Foundation, Inc. (TACFI) Executive Director Dr. Evelyn Songco. She highlighted the chapter's contributions during the quadricentennial celebration of the university in 2011. Dr. Songco lauded the tireless efforts of Tomasinong Bikolano's Coordinator Dr. Rollo Milante in unifying Thomasians in Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, and Legazpi. He continues to make the group more active and stronger since its establishment. With this, UST and AAI are looking forward to the chapter's journey with the university to its 500 years of existence.

Officers of Tomasinong Bikolano also accompanied OAR and AAI to UST-Legazpi to pay a courtesy call to the President and Rector Rev. Fr. Ernesto M. Arceo, O.P., STL, PhD.
