UST Rector Rev. Fr. Ang receives the bank check for the fundraising proceeds from OAR Director Dr. Rocamora
The UST Office of Alumni Relations (OAR), represented by Director Assoc. Prof. Joreen T. Rocamora, PhD, formally turned over PHP 70,632.00 to the UST Rector Very Rev. Fr. Richard G. Ang, O.P., PhD, last September 16, 2026 at the Office of the Rector, Main Building, UST Manila.
The amount represented proceeds from the partnership block screening of Wicked: For Good by OAR and the UST Alumni Association, Inc. (USTAAI). The funds were donated to help rebuild the UST General Santos campus which was greatly affected by the devastating magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao in June 2026.
The fundraising activity was held last November 19, 2025 at VIP Cinemas 1 & 2 Fisher Mall Quezon Avenue. The event was well-attended by Thomasian alumni, family, and friends.
