The Office of Alumni Relations held a fundraising musical play screening of Boublil and Schöneberg's Miss Saigon on May 10, 2024 at the Solaire Resort Entertainment City, Parañaque. Thomasian alumni and their families participated on the fundraiser to watch the critically acclaimed show and support the advocacy in benefitting scholars of the university at the same time.

The project was able to gather 40,000 pesos to be turned over to the UST Research and Endowment Foundation, Inc. (REFI). OAR Director Asst. Prof. Joreen T. Rocamora explained the rationale behind the project.

"The OAR is receiving requests for financial assistance from students with regard to supporting their academic requirements, international student mobility/visiting abroad, [and] paper presentations among others."

OAR strives to take a step further in raising funds for its beneficiaries by organizing more projects and collaborating with different alumni associations and departments within the University. An art exhibit in partnership with UST Atelier Alumni Association, Inc. is set to launch in July and an international pilgrimage in honor of St. Thomas Aquinas will fly off in December.  Two fundraising events for the benefit of student-athletes will be launched in 2025 - the Rector's Cup: Thomasian Alumni Golf Tournament and Tiger Run.
