The office was created during the Rectorship of Rev. Fr. Ernesto M. Arceo O.P. in 2007 as a separate office from the then Public and Alumni Affairs Office. The OAR exists to unify and strengthen generations of competent and compassionate Thomasians committed to the service of the Church, the nation and the global community.
The UST Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) is the major arm of the University of Santo Tomas in forging and sustaining the University’s ties with its alumni—unifying and strengthening generations of competent and compassionate Thomasians committed to the service of the Church, the nation and the global community.
Upholding the Thomasian identity: Competent, Committed and Compassionate, the UST Office of Alumni Relations aspires to inspire, engage, enrich and nurture the significant and inclusive participation of the alumni community in the attainment of the University’s lofty goals towards academic excellence, spiritual and moral transformation of the entire Thomasian community.
