There is no better feeling than that of having fun while knowing that you were able to help others as well.

The Lions Club International, in cooperation with the UST Alumni Association, Inc. and the UST Office of Alumni Relations, held a fundraising music festival, dubbed as “Lion’s Den,” last March 25, Saturday, at the UST Grandstand and Parade Grounds.

Proceeds form the music festival will be allotted for the building of public school classrooms and public rehabilitation centers, specifically in Pogo Central National High School in La Union, Gregorio Paradero Elementary School in Batangas, and Half Way House Rehabilitation Center in Leyte.

Part of the proceeds will also be allocated for future legacy centennial projects of the Lions Club International.

The music festival, which was held form 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., was a night of excitement, featuring popular DJs: Marc Marasigan, Cherry Summers, Everyday People, Jason Dewey and Soulful Jigs, and local bands: Join the Club, Silent Sanctuary and Sud.

To all the Thomasian alumni, students and other people who graced the event, we thank you very much. Your support and generosity will go a very long way.
