The UST Office of Alumni Relations congratulates Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, C.M. who was installed as the sixth president of Adamson University last September 9.
Fr. Manimtim graduated from the UST Central Seminary with a bachelor’s degree in Theology in 1976.
He obtained his undergraduate degree in Philosophy at Adamson University in 1972 and was ordained priest on March 15, 1976.
He also finished his special studies on Church History at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 1980 and obtained his doctorate in Philosophy in 1993.
Fr. Manimtim replaced Fr. Gregorio Bañaga, Jr., C.M. who served as president for 12 years.
Adamson University was founded on June 20, 1932 and is being run by the Congregation of the Missions.
