It has been an annual tradition for the UST College of Commerce Alumni Foundation, Inc. (COCAFI) to hold a Grand Homecoming in honor of its silver and golden jubilarians. Each year, alumni gather for a night of reminiscing and rekindling old friendships.
This year’s celebrants are the UST College of Commerce Classes 1966 and 1991 who are celebrated their 25th and 50th anniversaries respectively. The Grand Alumni Homecoming Gala Night was held last February 6, 2016 Saturday, at the Grand Ballroom of the Thomasian Alumni Center, 2/F BGPOP Building.
This year’s homecoming met the biggest number of attendees for the silver and golden jubilarians in all of COCAFI homecomings. Each of the attending alumni received silver and gold medals as a token from the university. Members of Batch 1964 who were unable to hold their golden anniversary were also given their share of the limelight.
INDUCTION OF COCAFI BOARD OF OFFICERS & TRUSTEES 2016-2017
During the homecoming, Commerce Regent Rev. Father Senen R. Ecleo, O.P. also inducted the new Board of Officers & Trustees of the College of Commerce Alumni Foundation, Inc. who will be holding their terms for two (2) years with the aim of upholding the Foundation’s vision:
“To foster closer camaraderie among the alumni, as it envisions itself to be a partner with the College of Commerce in becoming a model business school, forming professionals imbued with Thomistic values of Competence, Compassion and Commitment.”
