Gracing the UST Campus last Tuesday 26th March 2016, were the faculty members and delegates from the St. George’s School of Brunei. With the good intention of further strengthening the Thomasian ties with international schools and institutions, the UST Junior High School and UST Senior High School with the participation of the UST Office for Public Affairs and Office of Alumni Relations, welcomed the jovial academic group from Brunei with a warm musical ensemble prepared by teachers and junior high students.
With a rich history dating back 1937, the St. George’s School has consistently been one of the best academic institutions in Brunei offering and specializing in British high standard of education. Armed with strong Catholic roots and passionate administrators and faculty members, representatives have come to the University of Santo Tomas to impart and learn some of the best practices in achieving a common goal: nurturing and cultivating young minds to help them reach their full potential.
Among the guests who came were members of the school’s faculty, students and administrators who, by the end of a short program and a brief conference, were given a tour around the university by officers of the UST Junior High School Student Council. Some of the faculty members present in the visiting party are Thomasian alumni who were given the chance to reminisce their good old days with their venerated alma mater.
